Tokenization for energy projects and operating assets.

Bring solar, wind and energy storage projects into a platform designed around their financing and operating data. Coretos builds energy tokenization technology for developers, asset owners and investment operators, from project records to investor servicing. Prepare an individual project with Coretos, or commission a white-label or custom platform for your own business.

Define the asset, the instrument and the project stage

Energy tokenization starts with what the investor will hold. The structure might involve equity in a project company, project debt or an interest in a vehicle holding several assets. The agreed instrument determines the rights, reporting and servicing the platform needs to support.

A project under development needs different workflows from an operating plant. Construction milestones, funding conditions and commissioning belong to the development model. Operating assets bring production records, commercial contracts, expenses and distribution processes into focus.

We connect these requirements with the system your team will use to administer the instrument and serve investors.

Solar farm tokenization

A solar project connects land and project rights, construction or operating arrangements, generation data and the contracts under which energy is sold.

We design workflows around the relevant project entity and financing structure. The scope can include document approvals, investment applications, milestone records, operating reports and the calculations or instructions used for investor servicing.

Where a power purchase agreement is part of the project, its reporting and payment requirements help define the data the platform needs. Production readings, invoiced revenue and cash received are separate records to reconcile.

Wind farm tokenization

Wind projects introduce their own operating information, including generation, turbine availability, maintenance and the effect of interruptions on project reporting.

Coretos can connect the investor platform with the approved data supplied by the operator or administrator. The design identifies the reporting period, source, review responsibility and treatment of corrected information.

For a portfolio, the platform can distinguish each project and its obligations while giving the investor an appropriate consolidated view.

Battery energy storage tokenization

Battery energy storage systems can involve several commercial arrangements. The platform design needs to reflect the revenues and obligations included in the proposed instrument.

We assess the records needed for capacity, availability, operating activity, maintenance, warranties and equipment replacement. Where revenues come from different services, their reporting and reconciliation are treated separately before applying the agreed servicing rules.

The investor interface should explain the instrument and its rights clearly. Equipment performance data and contractual cash flows each have a defined role in that picture.

Compare the operating requirements

AssetExamples of source informationPlatform workflow to design
SolarProduction reports, power-sale contracts, invoices and operating expenses.Review project performance, reconcile receipts and prepare investor reports.
WindGeneration, availability, maintenance records and contract reporting.Track reporting periods, exceptions and project-level performance across a portfolio.
Battery storageService revenues, availability, warranty conditions and replacement plans.Separate revenue sources, record operating obligations and support servicing decisions.
Development-stage projectConstruction reports, approvals, budgets and commissioning evidence.Review milestones, record funding decisions and track changes to the project plan.

These are examples of requirements to assess. The project defines which data is available and who is responsible for reviewing it.

Oil, gas and other energy infrastructure

The scope can also cover financing and investor workflows for other energy assets, including processing facilities, refinery projects and associated infrastructure.

The first distinction is whether the instrument relates to an operating company, a specific project or another defined contractual exposure. We map the relevant entities, contracts and reporting obligations before specifying the technology.

Connect project reporting with investor servicing

An energy investment platform needs a traceable route from information to action.

Illustrative workflow: an operating solar project. The operator supplies a monthly production report; the administrator reconciles revenue and expenses; the responsible team reviews the servicing calculation; approved instructions move to the payment process; completed payments and reports are reflected in investor records.

Coretos designs the integrations, review steps and exception handling across that process. The approved operating model determines what can be automated and where a responsible person makes a decision.

Choose your delivery route

Prepare a project issuance. Work with Coretos on the proposed structure, investor process, platform options and implementation requirements.

Build your own platform. Commission a white-label or custom system for a project, portfolio or platform serving multiple issuers. The scope can include onboarding, subscriptions, documents, reporting, distributions and transfer controls.

Extend an existing system. Add operator data, reporting, payment integrations or further asset workflows to the technology you already use.

Plan for the next operating stage

Further development can include additional projects, new instruments, expanded investor servicing and secondary trading technology. Those changes are assessed against the instrument and operating arrangements, with a clear maintenance and support scope.

Questions about energy tokenization

Can we start while a project is still under development?

Yes. The planning work can begin with the project stage, proposed financing and available documents. Development milestones and ongoing operations are addressed separately in the scope.

Is this the same as tokenizing electricity or environmental certificates?

The investment structure defines the rights represented by the instrument. Energy units and environmental certificates have their own records and processes, which are assessed separately where relevant.

Can a platform cover solar, wind and storage together?

Yes. We can design shared investor and administration services alongside the reporting and servicing rules required for each asset type.

Share the asset type, project stage, location and financing or platform objective. We will help define the structure, workflows and technology needed for the next step.
